Minke (B&W)
Dwarf minke whales are one of four forms of minkes- it was first recognised in the mid 1980s and is found in the waters of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and the east coast of South America.
They follow a similar migration pattern as our humpback whales, travelling along the Australian coast each winter as they migrate from Antarctic waters towards the Great Barrier Reef- the only known aggregation sight for the species.
